1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Taiba mobile application (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have permission from a parent or legal guardian) to use the App.
2. Description of Service
Taiba is a mobile application that provides:
- Current and reference fuel prices.
- A map of nearby fuel stations and directions to them.
- A travel / fuel calculator to estimate fuel needs and costs for a trip.
- Notifications about fuel prices and service updates.
The App is provided for informational and convenience purposes only.
3. Accuracy of Information
Fuel prices, station locations, availability, distances, and calculator results are provided for general guidance and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. Prices and station information can change without notice.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of any information in the App.
- Always confirm actual prices and availability directly at the fuel station.
- Travel/fuel calculator results are estimates only and should not be relied upon as exact.
4. Use of Location Services
The App uses your device location to show nearby stations and calculate routes and distances. You control location access through your device settings. Disabling location will limit or disable location-based features. Your location is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or connected networks.
- Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or overburden it, or misuse the data it provides.
- Use the App while operating a vehicle in an unsafe or unlawful manner. Do not interact with the App while driving.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, content, logos, trademarks, and software, is owned by Taiba Petroleum Co. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.
7. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services (such as backend, map, and data providers) to function. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties. Your use of such services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that information will be accurate or reliable.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Taiba Petroleum Co. and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App — including reliance on fuel prices, station information, or calculator estimates.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Taiba Petroleum Co. and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
11. Modifications to the App and Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will cease, and you must stop using and uninstall the App.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
